Lead Pastor
Steve Grosz
Steve is the Lead Pastor at Mountain View Church. Over the past 19 years he has had opportunity to serve in various roles in church ministry including: camp and conference speaker, college pastor, and 15 years experience as a lead pastor. Steve graduated from North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago and is currently pursuing a doctorate at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL.
Though education and experience are certainly blessings, the real value of both has been to reveal a simple truth. Namely, that God in His love and forgiveness is the first mover in a radically renewed life. As God draws people into a relationship with Himself—and they respond in authentic faith and surrender—new community is created.
Family Discipleship Coach
Pete Schaffner
It is a joy to be part of the Mountain View family. My wife, Patty, and I have been part of this congregation since 1980 and love it. During this time, we have partnered with the church by leading Northwestern Colorado Youth for Christ for the past 37 years. We love young people and families and can’t imagine a more fulfilling calling then seeing them grow together in Christ.

Administrative Assistant and Children's Ministry
Mary Jean Carnevale
I am excited to be coordinating the children's ministry and working as the administrative assistant at Mountain View Church. The position of children's ministry coordinator offers a wonderful opportunity for me to share my love of God and His teachings with children. I worked with the Mother of Preschool Program (MOPS) for 20 years and was involved with at-risk youth programs for 24 years. All my experience has helped me realize that every child of God is special, talented, and has immense potential. As administrative assistant, it is my privilege to be serve God by assisting His people and following as He leads.
